Creaform's recent acquisition of Virtek Vision enables this plug-in to further expand the capabilities of its inspection modules to provide a new generation of metrology-compliant vision guidance for a wide range of applications.

The laser projection plug-in enables operators to scan parts, analyze deviations with reference models, and project important information directly onto the physical part during critical manufacturing processes, a process we call Scan > Analyze > Project. Its "Pick and Project" function, combined with a dynamic reference function, enables real-time projection of options in the inspection software with a single click. Whereas, both technologies use the same targeting point and frame of reference, ensuring seamless integration with existing system equipment.

Precise repair and rework of high-value parts: Operators can compare scan data to standard CAD models, analyze part consistency, and project the necessary information onto parts to ensure accurate rework to meet customer specifications.
